Cyndy plays a very versatile role in the clinic. She has been a MA for 10 years and she has earned a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration. Her clinical duties include preparing patients for examinations visits by taking vital signs, documenting patient information, such as medications, medical history, and changes in electronic health records. Assisting providers during medical examinations, testing and procedures. Operates our in-house lab by collecting and processing lab specimens, such as blood, urine, and throat swabs and other diagnostic tests. Instruct patients on medication administration and other healthcare-related instructions. She also makes sure our clinic adheres to infection control protocols, maintains clean and sterile examination rooms and equipment. A big part of her role is communication with healthcare providers and patients to relay test results and treatment plans.
